Green Bamboo

This nail art ended up going kinda in a different direction than I had planned. I really wanted to do a chinese bamboo watercolour inspired nail art...but it ended up looking like a bit of a mess.

I made a lot of boo boos, but I'm still quite happy with it, I love the limey green and the scribbly black bamboo I think it looks quite cool.

 But I am definitely going to re-do this one, making it bit more refined and more like what I planned.

(stars for anyone that can guess my bad chinese writing! lol)

This nail art was a job and a half! Getting those beads on were super annoying, they're so tiny and finicky. Even after 3 coats of top coat they still seem a bit wobbly so I think next time if I ever did this I'd use nail glue instead.

Whats cookin'? nail art entry

This is my entry into Copy that Copy Cat Nails nail art contest for her 1st year blog anniversary. The theme was "whats cookin?"
Its some important ingredients that go into making chocolate mousse and their measurements. The idea is when you join up the two hands you get how much of each ingredient you need in the recipe.
I did these on some fake nails I had around, because my nails are not looking all that great atm!
